Arte y Lengua
In this project we chose an artist who was of latin descent. After we chose our artists we made an art piece that replicated their style. After we created our piece we wrote an artists statement explaining what it was we created and what inspirations we took from our mentor. In this project I learned a lot about differents styles of architecture. I learned about what can inspire architects to make the amazing pieces they make. If I had had another chance on this project, I don't think I would have made a building. I think it would have been interesting to have made a park. A park, like a leasure park.

Project Reflection
In this project we wrote a children's book about life in a Spanish speaking country. I chose San Jose, Costa Rica. Through this project I learned a lot about different countries and their cultures. I was really proud of the pages that I created. I enjoyed creating them. I had to use perseverance during this project because I had trouble finding pictures to go with certain sections. If I had been able to redo the project, I would have put more work into the illustratons. I would have tried to make my book have more interaction.
For our exhibition we read to the kids of Del Alma. It was really different than our other exhibitions, but I really enjoyed. It was nice to see little kids get something out of work. It made me feel more accomplished. After we read our books, they chose their own books for us to read. That was really interesting because sometimes I didn't know what the book was saying, but I just went along with it.
